TOUR OVERVIEW:
You want to ride the Taiwan KOM Challenge 2025 and see how you will fare on one of the world’s longest, toughest and most beautiful climbs?
Would you like to have everything taken care of, from hotel pick up and drop off, with hotels booked, great dining and cultural experiences provided, to get the inside line on the most incredible roads amongst some of the best cycling terrain in all of Asia - and to do all that with a bunch of like-minded people?
Well, if so, this is the tour for you.
Note: This KOM Tour features a NEW Taiwan KOM route, from Sun Moon Lake up to Wuling from the western side. The traditional east approach, through Taroko Gorge, is considered still to be unsuitable for a large event to take place along it. However, we expect that in October it will be allowable for a small group to descend.
On this, our 2025 Taiwan KOM Challenge Tour, hosted in conjunction with the Taiwan Cyclist Federation, organisers of the KOM event, not only will we take care of all the entry requirements for the race, we also offer the ‘local experience’, and ensure that your trip is as hassle-free as it can possibly be.
We’ve planned this tour to provide you with the most incredible views and experiences along the best roads on the island, and to offer you a rare opportunity to descend the entirety of the original Taroko Taiwan KOM Challenge route!
After this, our vans will be waiting to whisk us back to Taipei, ready for our Farewell Dinner!
Our support vans are run by experienced, local, English-speaking guides who are also avid cyclists.
Once back in Taipei, on the final day we will be on hand to assist with your departure from the airport and with any hotel bookings for those wishing to extend their trip.
This tour has been designed to be as breathtaking as possible, taking you past glistening waters, alongside rice paddies and to the beautiful Pacific coast by Yilan City.
