Deposit:

A deposit of $500 is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 45 days before the tour start date. Deposit is due within 14 days of confirmation or reservation.

Cancellation Policy:

From Your Side:

Where, for whatever reason, a guest is obliged to withdraw, written notice must be given to Taiwan KOM Tours.

Refund follow the rules below:

Within 45 days from date of departure the penalty fare is 25% of the total cost of the trip.Within 30 days from departure the penalty fare is 40% of the total cost of the trip.Within 21 days from departure the penalty fare is 60% of the total cost of the trip.Within 14 days from departure the penalty fare is 80 % of the total cost of the trip.After this date no refund will be given.

No refunds for inability to join a tour due to lack or inaccuracy of the personal travel docu- ments (i.e Visa or Passport issues.

We understand things can happen unexpectedly, and while we respect what may be hap- pening with your schedule, we simply ask you to respect what has gone on from our end to plan the trip. Hotels are arranged and confirmed with a deposit and depending on the time frame, may not be allowed a cancellation without penalty. If this is the case, we ask for payment of this expense. The remainder of any money paid will be put towards a future trip with us.

From Our Side:

Taiwan KOM Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour 30 days prior to start date, though we do our best to inform you as early as possible. In the event of cancellation, and due to the fact that the tours are in Taiwan where we are subject to tropical storms and typhoons, we have the following policy:

Cancellation by us 8-45 days prior to the tour start date: 100% refund of tour cost.

Cancellation by us 1-7 days prior to the tour start date: 50% of the tour cost with whatever is remaining also refunded to the client. (Cancellation at this stage will only be due to severe weather warnings/earthquakes/mud slides etc, that are out of our hands). We strongly advise to purchase transferable tickets as we will also offer those subject to cancellation the same or similar tours at a later date.
